Sworn translation
officially recognised
Sworn translators authorised by Belgian courts. Certified documents accepted by all administrations, courts, and embassies in Belgium and abroad.
What is a sworn translation?
A sworn (or certified) translation is a translation produced by a translator who has taken an oath before a court. It is accompanied by an official statement certifying the accuracy and authenticity of the translation relative to the original document.
The translator affixes their official stamp, handwritten signature, and a unique reference number. This document has legal value recognised by all public and private institutions in Belgium and abroad.
Important: a standard translation cannot replace a sworn translation for official procedures. Institutions systematically refuse non-certified documents.
Authorised by the courts
All our translators have taken an oath before the court and are registered in the official Belgian register of sworn translators and interpreters.
Documents accepted everywhere
Our certified translations are recognised by all Belgian, Luxembourg, and international institutions without exception.
Official stamp & signature
Each translation bears the translator's official stamp, their handwritten signature, and a unique reference number for traceability.
