Particularities of the German-speaking Community
The German-speaking Community (Deutschsprachige Gemeinschaft, DG) is the smallest of Belgium's three communities, with around 78,000 inhabitants spread across nine municipalities: Eupen, La Calamine (Kelmis), Lontzen, Raeren, Amel (Amblève), Bütgenbach, Büllingen, Burg-Reuland and Sankt Vith.
